Steward Spartans (Richmond, VA) followers exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Wakefield Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA), 11-4 in a non-league battle.

The Spartans now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nansemond-Suffolk Academy for a VISAA Division 2 battle on Friday, April 21. Steward will clash with a Saints squad coming off a 14-6 league win over Cape Henry Collegiate (Virginia Beach, VA). The Saints record now stands at 7-5.

In their next game, the Fighting Owls clash with the Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 21. Wakefield will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 5-3 record after their 13-6 non-league win over Fork Union Military Academy (Fork Union, VA).
