Academy of Notre Dame Lancers (Tyngsborough, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Groton-Dunstable Crusaders (Groton, MA), 14-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Lancers now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whittier RVT for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 21. Academy of Notre Dame will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 10-3 non-league win over Melrose (Melrose, MA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Groton-Dunstable falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Westborough (Westborough, MA) to battle the Rangers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 19. The Rangers enter the challenge with a record of 1-1.
