Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Alton Comets (Alton, MO) and the visiting Koshkonong Blue Jays (Koshkonong, MO), witnessed Alton's softball squad prevail over Koshkonong by a count of 17-2.

The Comets now sport a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Houston for a non-league match on Monday, April 24. Alton will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 21-0 non-league win over Eminence (Eminence, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Koshkonong moves to 0-7 on the season. The Blue jays travel to Cabool (Cabool, MO) to meet the Bulldogs in a District 7 match on Monday, April 24. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 1-8.
