The Pearland Oilers softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Ball Tornadoes to 1 in the Oilers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Pearland improves its record to 28-3 on the year. The Oilers travel to Alief Hastings (Houston, TX) to clash with the Bears in a 6A Region III District 23 game on Friday, April 21. The Bears come into the game with a record of 1-12. Alief Hastings lost 15-0 in their recent league game against Alvin (Alvin, TX)

In their next game, the Tornadoes clash with the Angleton Wildcats (Angleton, TX) in a 5A Region III District 18 game, on Friday, April 21. Ball will attempt to improve on its 11-16 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 21-9 record after their 4-2 league win over La Porte (La Porte, TX).
