California High School Softball - Bishop O'Dowd bounces San Leandro

Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host San Leandro Pirates (San Leandro, CA), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Dragons now own a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they host Head-Royce for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 19. Bishop O'Dowd will face a Jayhawks squad coming off a 7-3 league win over St. Joseph Notre Dame (Alameda, CA). The Jayhawks record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, San Leandro falls to 10-6 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to San Lorenzo (San Lorenzo, CA) to face the Grizzlies in a West Alameda County-Shoreline challenge on Wednesday, April 19. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a record of 5-8. San Lorenzo lost 23-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA)
