Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Centennial Chargers (Champaign, IL), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Ironmen now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Metamora for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 19. Normal Community will battle a Redbirds squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Limestone (Bartonville, IL). The Redbirds record now stands at 14-3.

With the loss, Centennial moves to 0-8 on the season. The Chargers travel to Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL) to meet the Saints in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 19. The Saints go into the match with a record of 9-9. Bloomington Central Catholic won 8-1 in their recent non-league match against Lexington (Lexington, IL)
