The Hornets now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Grassfield for a Southeastern challenge on Thursday, April 20. Deep Creek will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 13-4 league loss to Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Indian River falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Braves host Lakeland (Suffolk, VA) to face the Cavaliers in a Southeastern challenge on Thursday, April 20. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a record of 5-5. Lakeland lost 12-0 in their recent league challenge against Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA)
