Indiana High School Softball - Mitchell gets by Eastern Greene

April 18, 2023: Mitchell, IN 47446

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Mitchell Bluejackets (Mitchell, IN) and the visiting Eastern Greene Thunderbirds (Bloomfield, IN), witnessed Mitchell's softball team nudge Eastern Greene by a score of 7-6.

Coming up next, the Bluejackets encounter the Crawford County Wolfpack (Marengo, IN) in a Patoka Lake test, on Wednesday, April 19. Mitchell will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Wolfpack enter the test with a 0-7 record after their 26-1 non-league loss to Corydon Central (Corydon, IN).

The Thunderbirds (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Loogootee (Loogootee, IN). The Lions enter the non-league test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Loogootee was tipped by North Harrison (Ramsey, IN), 12-2, in a non-league test.
