The Fitchburg Red Raiders (Fitchburg, MA) softball routed the visiting South Colonels (Worcester, MA), 19-4 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Red Raiders (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against Ashland (Ashland, MA). The Clockers go into the non-league bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, Ashland was routed by Hopkinton (Hopkinton, MA), 17-5, in a league bout.

The Colonels now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Northbridge for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 20. South will confront a Rams squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Hopedale (Hopedale, MA). The Rams record now stands at 4-2.
