Illinois High School Softball - Watseka bounces Grant Park

Watseka Warriors (Watseka, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Grant Park Dragons (Grant Park, IL), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Armstrong for a Vermilion Valley challenge on Wednesday, April 19. Watseka will face a Trojans squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Chrisman (Chrisman, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Grant Park falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Peotone (Peotone, IL) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 20. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 4-8. Peotone lost 5-1 in their recent league challenge against Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL)
