The Kellis Cougars softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting North Canyon Rattlers to 0 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Kellis improves its record to 7-9 on the year. The Cougars travel to Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ) to clash with the Wildcats in a 5A Northwest game on Friday, April 21. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 24-0. Willow Canyon won 23-0 in their recent non-league game against Youngker (Buckeye, AZ)

In their next game, the Rattlers clash with the South Mountain Jaguars (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A Metro game, on Friday, April 21. North Canyon will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Jaguars come into the game with a 2-16 record after their 22-0 non-league loss to McClintock (Tempe, AZ).
