Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Logansport Berries (Logansport, IN) and the host Maconaquah Braves (Bunker Hill, IN), witnessed Logansport's softball squad tip Maconaquah by a count of 8-4.

The Berries now sport a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Harrison for a North Central match on Thursday, April 20. Logansport will face a Raiders squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Noblesville (Noblesville, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Maconaquah moves to 4-4 on the season. The Braves travel to Northfield (Wabash, IN) to face the Norsemen in a Three Rivers match on Wednesday, April 19. The Norsemen go into the match with a record of 1-5. Northfield won 15-13 in their recent non-league match against Southern Wells (Poneto, IN)
