Connecticut High School Softball - Nonnewaug nudges O'Brien RVT

Nonnewaug Chiefs (Woodbury, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host O'Brien RVT Condors (Ansonia, CT), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Chiefs now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Terryville for a Berkshire challenge on Wednesday, April 19.
With the loss, O'Brien RVT falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Condors host Bullard-Havens (Bridgeport, CT) to face the Tigers in a Connecticut Tech challenge on Thursday, April 20. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 3-3. Bullard-Havens lost 17-4 in their recent league challenge against Platt RVT (Milford, CT)
