The Queen Anne's County Lions crushed the host Bennett Clippers baseball team by a count of 14-4 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Lions now possess a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kent Island for a Bayside - North bout on Saturday, April 20. Queen Anne's County will face a Buccaneers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Parkside (Salisbury, MD). The Buccaneers record now stands at 3-9.
Next, the Clippers face the Washington Jaguars (Princess Anne, MD) in a Bayside - South bout, on Friday, April 19. Bennett will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Jaguars enter the bout with a 3-8 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Colonel Richardson (Federalsburg, MD).
