The Raton Tigers baseball team (Raton, NM), was overwhelmed 11-1 in Thursday's non-league outing with the host Lamar Thunder (Lamar, CO)

The Thunder now hold a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they host Swink for a non-league outing on Monday, April 22. Lamar will face a Lions team coming off a 5-0 league win over Crowley County (Ordway, CO). The Lions record now stands at 9-3.

Next, the Tigers face the Santa Fe Indian Braves (Santa Fe, NM) in a 3A District 2 outing, on Tuesday, April 23. Raton will attempt to advance on its 3-17 season record. The Braves enter the outing with a 12-4 record after their 22-2 non-league win over Estancia (Estancia, NM).
