Sevier County Smoky Bears (Sevierville, TN) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Heritage Mountaineers (Maryville, TN), 7-4 in a non-league test.

The Smoky Bears now have a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maryville for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 23. Sevier County will face a Red Rebels squad coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Walker Valley (Cleveland, TN). The Red Rebels record now stands at 7-6.

In their next game, the Mountaineers face the Bearden Bulldogs (Knoxville, TN) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 25. Heritage will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 8-4 record after their 13-8 non-league win over Gatlinburg-Pittman (Gatlinburg, TN).
