The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA) and the visiting Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA), saw Academy for Classical Education's soccer squad get by Appling County by a margin of 2-1.
The Gryphons now sport a 11-4 record. They play next when they host Worth County for a non-league test on Friday, April 26. Academy for Classical Education will meet a Rams squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Johnson (Augusta, GA). The Rams record now stands at 16-3.
With the loss, Appling County drops to 9-10 on the season.
