Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish (Kankakee, IL) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Chicago Christian Knights (Palos Heights, IL), 9-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Fightin' Irish face the Timothy Christian Trojans (Elmhurst, IL) in a Chicagoland Christian challenge, on Tuesday, April 23. Bishop McNamara will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Latin (Chicago, IL).

The Knights now have a 2-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Richards for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 22. Chicago Christian will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 10-1 league loss to Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South (Calumet City, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-6.
