Chicago University Maroons (Chicago, IL) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Maroons face the Regina Dominican Panthers (Wilmette, IL) in a Independent Schools challenge, on Tuesday, April 23. Chicago University will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Cristo Rey St. Martin (Waukegan, IL).

The Hornets now have a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to IC Catholic Prep for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20. Hinsdale South will face a Knights team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Mother McAuley (Chicago, IL). The Knights record now stands at 3-2.
