Eastlake Titans (Chula Vista, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Titans now own a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Otay Ranch for a challenge on Wednesday, April 24. Eastlake will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Olympian (Chula Vista, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, Point Loma falls to 11-8 on the campaign. The Pointers travel to Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA) to battle the Falcons in a challenge on Friday, April 19. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 13-2. Scripps Ranch won 17-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Hilltop (Chula Vista, CA)
