The Freeport Yellowjackets lacrosse team scored 17 points and held the host Plum Mustangs to 6 in the Yellowjackets league win on Thursday.
The Yellowjackets (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA). The Titans go into the WPIAL 2A 2 match with a 7-3 record.
The Mustangs (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA). The Colts go into the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Chartiers Valley was overwhelmed by Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA), 15-2, in a league match.
