Grafton Gators (Grafton, MA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting St. John's Pioneers (Shrewsbury, MA), 8-7 in a non-league test.
The Gators now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Walpole for a non-league test on Saturday, April 20.
In their next game, the Pioneers face the Framingham Flyers (Framingham, MA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 20. St. John's will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Flyers come into the test with a 4-1 record after their 9-6 non-league loss to Londonderry (Londonderry, NH).
