The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD) and the host Paint Branch Panthers (Burtonsville, MD), saw Walter Johnson's lacrosse team top Paint Branch by a margin of 14-5.

The Wildcats (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Einstein (Kensington, MD). The Titans enter the Montgomery County 3A/2A/1A challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Einstein beat Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD), 11-5, in a league challenge.

The Panthers (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Clarksburg (Clarksburg, MD). The Coyotes enter the Montgomery County 3A/2A/1A challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Clarksburg was overwhelmed by Rockville (Rockville, MD), 14-1, in a league challenge.
