Oneida Indians (Oneida, TN) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Anderson County Mavericks (Clinton, TN), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Indians confront the Greenback Cherokees (Greenback, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 19. Oneida will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Cherokees enter the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to William Blount (Maryville, TN).

The Mavericks now have a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they host Campbell County for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 22. Anderson County will confront a Cougars team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Karns (Knoxville, TN). The Cougars record now stands at 2-10.
