In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Bellevue East Chieftains soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Omaha North Vikings.
The Chieftains (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Fremont (Fremont, NE). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, Fremont nudged Lincoln Northeast (Lincoln, NE), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
The Vikings (1-13) will now prepare for their battle against Bellevue West (Bellevue, NE). The Thunderbirds come into the non-league battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, Bellevue West nudged Bryan (Omaha, NE), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
