The crowd at Thursday's league test between the South Gibson Hornets (Medina, TN) and the host Obion County Rebels (Troy, TN), saw South Gibson's soccer squad triumph over Obion County by a margin of 5-0.
The Hornets now sport a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Dyer County for a AA District 13 test on Monday, April 22. South Gibson will meet a Choctaws squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Ripley (Ripley, TN). The Choctaws record now stands at 5-8.
With the loss, Obion County drops to 4-6 on the season. The Rebels travel to Crockett County (Alamo, TN) to meet the Cavaliers in a AA District 13 test on Monday, April 22. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 9-0. Crockett County won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Dyersburg (Dyersburg, TN)
