The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY) and the host Paul Laurence Dunbar Bulldogs (Lexington, KY), observed Bourbon County's softball team notch a victory over Paul Laurence Dunbar by a tally of 13-1.
The Colonels (5-6) will now prepare for their bout against Scott (Covington, KY). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 7-5 record. In their last bout, Scott was routed by Campbell County (Alexandria, KY), 13-11, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Holmes Bulldogs (Covington, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 20. Paul Laurence Dunbar will attempt to advance on its 4-9 season record.
