The Orono Spartans softball team (Long Lake, MN), was routed 16-5 in Thursday's non-league test with the host Chaska Hawks (Chaska, MN)

Coming up next, the Hawks encounter the Minneapolis Southwest Lakers (Minneapolis, MN) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 19. Chaska will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record.

The Spartans (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Delano (Delano, MN). The Tigers come into the Wright County test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Delano overcame Southwest Christian (Chaska, MN), 14-7, in a non-league test.
