The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Clarkston Bantams (Clarkston, WA) and the host Orofino Maniacs (Orofino, ID), observed Clarkston's softball team notch a victory over Orofino by a tally of 20-1.

The Bantams (11-2) will now prepare for their bout against East Valley (Spokane, WA). The Knights go into the 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane bout with a 3-8 record. In their last bout, East Valley was routed by Timberlake (Spirit Lake, ID), 12-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Maniacs battle the Kellogg Wildcats (Kellogg, ID) in a 2A Central Idaho bout, on Friday, April 19. Orofino will attempt to advance on its 9-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 4-2 league win over St. Maries (St. Maries, ID).
