Forsyth Home Educators Hawks (Winston-Salem, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Union Grove Christian Patriots (Lexington, NC), 15-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Hawks now own a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they host Charity Christian for a challenge on Friday, April 19. Forsyth Home Educators will battle a Cardinals squad coming off a 15-5 non-league win over Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy (Lincolnton, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Union Grove Christian falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Wilson Christian Academy (Wilson, NC) to battle the Chargers in a challenge on Friday, April 19. The Chargers enter the challenge with a record of 6-4. Wilson Christian Academy won 14-4 in their recent league challenge against Wilmington Christian Academy (Wilmington, NC)
