The McKinley Trojans softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Lordstown Red Devils to 3 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, McKinley improves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Trojans host Western Reserve (Berlin Center, OH) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet game on Friday, April 19. The Blue Devils come into the game with a record of 4-3. Western Reserve won 21-10 in their recent league game against Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH)

In their next game, the Red Devils clash with the Windham Bombers (Windham, OH) in a Northeastern Athletic game, on Friday, April 19. Lordstown will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Bombers come into the game with a 2-5 record after their 9-8 league loss to Bristol (Bristolville, OH).
