Pleasant Spartans (Marion, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting North Union Wildcats (Richwood, OH), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans now sport a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cardington-Lincoln for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20. Pleasant will face a Pirates squad coming off a 5-2 league win over Centerburg (Centerburg, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, North Union falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Jonathan Alder (Plain City, OH) to face the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a record of 10-2. Jonathan Alder won 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Indian Lake (Lewistown, OH)
