Indiana High School Softball - Perry Central can't get by Southridge

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Southridge Raiders (Huntingburg, IN) softball team held off the visiting Perry Central Commodores (Leopold, IN), by a margin of 9-8.
With the triumph, Southridge moves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Raiders host Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IN) to play the Wildcats in a Pocket contest on Friday, April 19. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 9-2. Mt. Vernon won 19-2 in their recent non-league contest against Evansville Bosse (Evansville, IN)
In their next game, the Commodores play the Clarksville Generals (Clarksville, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 20. Perry Central will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record.
