Tri-West Hendricks Bruins (Lizton, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Plainfield Quakers (Plainfield, IN), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bruins now sport a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Cascade for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. Tri-West Hendricks will face a Cadets squad coming off a 12-3 league win over Indianapolis Scecina Memorial (Indianapolis, IN). The Cadets record now stands at 9-0.

With the loss, Plainfield falls to 10-2 on the campaign. The Quakers host Seymour (Seymour, IN) to face the Owls in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20. The Owls enter the challenge with a record of 3-7. Seymour lost 6-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Silver Creek (Sellersburg, IN)
