In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Geneseo Maple Leafs baseball team scored a nice 11-1 win over the Bloomington Purple Raiders.

The Maple Leafs (8-9) will now prepare for their game against Rock Island (Rock Island, IL). The Rocks go into the Western Big Six game with a 5-8 record. In their last game, Rock Island was overwhelmed by Quincy (Quincy, IL), 5-4, in a league game.

Next, the Purple Raiders play the Metamora Redbirds (Metamora, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 19. Bloomington will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Redbirds go into the game with a 4-8 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Morton (Morton, IL).
