The Burlington-Edison Tigers baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Lynden Lions to 0 in the Tigers league win on Friday.
The Tigers now hold a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Lynden Christian for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Tuesday, April 22. Burlington-Edison will play a Lyncs team coming off a 6-3 league win over Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA). The Lyncs record now stands at 11-2.
With the defeat, Lynden drops to 7-8 on the year. The Lions host Sehome (Bellingham, WA) to play the Mariners in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Tuesday, April 22. The Mariners go into the test with a record of 6-8. Sehome won 5-1 in their recent league test against Ferndale (Ferndale, WA)
