Ohio High School Baseball - Central Magnet defeats Newton Local

April 18, 2025: Pleasant Hill, OH 45359

The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Central Magnet (Murfreesboro, TN) and the host Newton Local Indians (Pleasant Hill, OH), saw Central Magnet's baseball team gain a win over Newton Local by a tally of 16-10.

The (12-12) will now prepare for their battle against Oneida (Oneida, TN). The Indians enter the non-league battle with a 8-12 record. In their last battle, Oneida was overwhelmed by Eagleton College & Career Academy (Maryville, TN), 13-4, in a league battle.

Next, the Indians face the Fulton Falcons (Knoxville, TN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 19. Newton Local will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 17-9 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Oliver Springs (Oliver Springs, TN).
