In Friday's non-league bout, the Greenland Pirates (Greenland, AR) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Gentry Pioneers (Gentry, AR), by a tally of 16-2.
Next up, the Pirates encounter the Pea Ridge Blackhawks (Pea Ridge, AR) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 21. Greenland will attempt to upgrade on its 13-7 season record. The Blackhawks enter the bout with a 7-7 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Neosho (Neosho, MO).
The Pioneers (16-6) will now prepare for their bout against Prairie Grove (Prairie Grove, AR). The Tigers enter the 4A Region 1 bout with a 8-11 record.
