The Ichabod Crane Riders baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Niskayuna Silver Warriors to 7 in the Riders non-league win on Friday.

The Riders now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Coxsackie-Athens for a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. Ichabod Crane will clash with a Riverhawks team coming off a 13-1 league win over Taconic Hills (Craryville, NY). The Riverhawks record now stands at 6-1.

With the defeat, Niskayuna drops to 3-4 on the year. The Silver warriors travel to La Salle Institute (Troy, NY) to clash with the Cadets in a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. The Cadets go into the test with a record of 5-0. La Salle Institute won 12-0 in their recent non-league test against Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY)
