In Friday's non-league game, the host Jasper Wildcats baseball team scored a close 4-1 win over the New Albany Bulldogs.
The Wildcats (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN). The Patriots go into the non-league game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Heritage Hills by Barr-Reeve (Montgomery, IN), 6-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Bulldogs play the Charlestown Pirates (Charlestown, IN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 19. New Albany will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Pirates go into the game with a 7-1 record after their 6-1 league win over Corydon Central (Corydon, IN).
