Illinois High School Baseball - Orion wallops Kewanee

The Orion Chargers baseball team scored 20 runs and held the host Kewanee Boilermakers to 9 in the Chargers league win on Friday.

The Chargers now own a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Knoxville for a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. Orion will play a Blue Bullets team coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] (Woodhull, IL). The Blue Bullets record now stands at 0-10.

With the defeat, Kewanee drops to 6-9 on the year. The Boilermakers travel to Mendota (Mendota, IL) to play the Trojans in a Three Rivers test on Monday, April 21. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 7-5. Mendota won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Riverdale (Port Byron, IL)
