The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Raymond Rams (Raymond, NH) and the host Newport Tigers (Newport, NH), saw Raymond's baseball team gain a win over Newport by a tally of 12-0.
The Rams (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Kearsarge (North Sutton, NH). The Cougars enter the Division III battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Kearsarge was overwhelmed by Belmont (Belmont, NH), 17-5, in a league battle.
Next, the Tigers face the Conant Orioles (Jaffrey, NH) in a Division III battle, on Monday, April 21. Newport will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Orioles enter the battle with a 3-1 record after their 7-2 league loss to Campbell (Litchfield, NH).
