Fans at Friday's non-league test between the La Costa Canyon Mavericks (Carlsbad, CA) and the visiting Sage Creek Bobcats (Carlsbad, CA), witnessed La Costa Canyon's lacrosse squad top Sage Creek by a count of 14-0.

The Mavericks (5-0) will now prepare for their test against Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA). The Falcons enter the test with a 10-2 record. In their last test, Torrey Pines was overwhelmed by Foothill (Santa Ana, CA), 13-5, in a non-league test.

Next, the Bobcats battle the San Dieguito Academy Mustangs (Encinitas, CA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 22. Sage Creek will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record. The Mustangs enter the test with a 1-1 record after their 18-1 non-league win over Castle Park (Chula Vista, CA).
