In Friday's league contest, the host East Coweta Indians lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-9 win over the Northgate Vikings.

The Indians (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeside (Atlanta, GA). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Lakeside by Newnan (Newnan, GA), 13-3, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Vikings meet the Newnan Cougars (Newnan, GA) in a 2A Area 5 contest, on Tuesday, April 22. Northgate will attempt to better on its 4-12 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 8-8 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Lakeside (Atlanta, GA).
