Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Jesup J-Hawks (Jesup, IA) and the host Grinnell Tigers (Grinnell, IA), saw Jesup's soccer squad triumph over Grinnell by a count of 5-0.

The J-Hawks (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Solon (Solon, IA). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Solon tipped West Delaware (Manchester, IA), 10-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Benton Bobcats (Van Horne, IA) in a WaMac-West battle, on Monday, April 21. Grinnell will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Bobcats enter the battle with a 1-7 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Newton (Newton, IA).
