Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) followers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the visiting Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA), 8-3 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Western Albemarle advances its record to 1-4 on the season. The Warriors travel to Powhatan (Powhatan, VA) to play the Indians in a non-league game on Friday, May 2. The Indians come into the game with a record of 2-3.

The Bulldogs now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Orange County for a non-league game on Tuesday, April 22. Goochland will play a Fighting Hornets team coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Fighting Hornets record now stands at 1-3.
