Chesapeake Cougars (Pasadena, MD) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Caravel Academy Buccaneers (Bear, DE), 9-5 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Chesapeake upgrades its record to 8-3 on the year. The Cougars host North County (Glen Burnie, MD) to play the Knights in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 22. The Knights enter the game with a record of 2-0.

The Buccaneers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Georges Tech for a non-league game on Monday, April 28.
