The Roosevelt Roughriders soccer squad scored 9 points and held the visiting Waukee Warriors to 0 in the Roughriders non-league victory on Friday.
The Roughriders now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Roland-Story for a non-league bout on Friday, April 25. Roosevelt will play a Norsemen squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Ottumwa (Ottumwa, IA). The Norsemen record now stands at 7-2.
With the loss, Waukee moves to 4-7 on the year. The Warriors host Pella (Pella, IA) to play the Dutch in a non-league bout on Saturday, April 19. The Dutch go into the bout with a record of 4-0.
