Minnesota High School Softball - Brainerd bounces Anoka

In Friday's non-league match, the host Brainerd Warriors softball team scored a tight 8-1 win over the Anoka Tornadoes.

The Warriors (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Moorhead (Moorhead, MN). The Spuds come into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Moorhead was routed by Buffalo (Buffalo, MN), 13-8, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Tornadoes battle the Coon Rapids Cardinals (Coon Rapids, MN) in a Northwest Suburban match, on Tuesday, April 22. Anoka will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Cardinals come into the match with a 0-5 record after their 10-3 league loss to Osseo (Osseo, MN).
