The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Columbia Central Lions (Columbia, TN) and the host Bob Jones Patriots (Madison, AL), observed Columbia Central's softball team get by Bob Jones by a tally of 5-0.

The Lions (14-7) will now prepare for their bout against West Morgan (Trinity, AL). The Rebels go into the non-league bout with a 8-20 record. In their last bout, West Morgan was routed by Lawrence County (Moulton, AL), 9-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Elkmont Red Devils (Elkmont, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 18. Bob Jones will attempt to advance on its 8-28 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 12-12 record after their 12-0 league win over Whitesburg Christian Academy (Huntsville, AL).
